Saints head coach Sean Payton is busy at the NFL combine checking out the talent ahead of this year’s draft. He mentions to NewOrleansSaints.com that defensive line, corner, receiver and interior offensive lineman are all position groups that are strong in this year’s draft class.

March 1, 2019 Payton also dropped by the NFL Network’s set and had a very informative interview about watching the drills going on at the combine. He was also asked about Oklahoma Sooner QB Kyler Murray.

Round 5, No. 168 overall
Round 5, No. 177 overall, via the New York Jets
Round 6, No. 202 overall
