You can start planning your Fairgrounds odyssey for this year's Jazz Fest: the festival released the "cubes" that show where and when your favorite artists will play.
The schedule will also let you know what choices you have to make -- if you wanted to see both rockers Cheap Trick and country music songstress Kacey Musgraves on Friday, April 25, for example, you'll have to cut at last part of their sets from your plans, because the play at the same time on opposite ends of the fest.
John Fogerty, the Dave Matthews Band, Santana, Morris Day & the Time, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Patti LaBelle, Harry Connick Jr. and Lil Wayne are among some of the major artists performing this year.
The fest will cover eight days over two long weekends, starting Thursday, April 24 - 27 and returning Thursday May 1-4. Tickets are on sale now.
