The COVID-19 testing site opened two hours later from its usual 8 a.m. open time because officials say, they had to train medical staff on how to use the new testing kits. UNO Arena testing site will close once 250 test has been performed. This is so the volume of tests from the site does not overwhelm testing labs. In Jefferson Parish, the COVID-19 testing site at the Alario Center in Westwego stayed closed today. Officials say it didn’t open the site because of a delayed shipment of the testing kits.
