The Atlanta Falcons and Los Angeles Chargers have both had their fair share of brutal losses in the fourth quarter of games, so, naturally, something odd was going to happen they squared off on Sunday.
With less than a minute remaining in the fourth quarter and the game tied at 17, Chargers running back Austin Ekeler fumbled the ball at the Atlanta 20, with Falcons defensive lineman Ta’Quon Graham recovering.

Graham scooped the ball up and began to take off downfield, appearing he would get the Falcons in good field position.
Graham made it to about the 40-yard line before he just dropped the ball, which was recovered by the Chargers.
It was a crushing turn of events for the Falcons, as Justin Herbert brought the team back down to the Atlanta 19-yard line in the next two plays before kicker Cameron Dicker nailed a 37-yard field goal as time expired to give Los Angeles a 20-17 victory.
Fans on social media were in disbelief over the sequence of events as both teams seemingly tried to give the game away.
