LSU quarterback Sam Leavitt is available for the Tiger’s trip to Ole Miss. The No. 7 Tigers and No. 8 Rebels are scheduled to face off at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Oxford, Mississippi.

The Arizona State transfer was left off of Friday night’s Southeastern Conference availability report, meaning he will be available for kickoff on Saturday. Leavitt was listed as “doubtful” on the initial report after missing parts of practice on Wednesday. He participated in a walk-through practice and was upgraded to “questionable” Thursday night.

Leavitt is the Southeastern Conference’s No. 2 passer entering LSU’s conference opener. He has completed 41 of 66 passes for 574 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions. Leavitt also ranks No. 13 in the SEC with 135 rushing yards on 23 carries, and his five rushing touchdowns tie Florida running back Jadan Baugh for the most in the league.

Starting linebacker TJ Dottery remained questionable for the third straight report. Dottery is the Tiger’s leading tackler through two games this season and will wait for his status to be updated 90 minutes before kickoff.

Starting right guard Aliou Bah, rotational linebacker Davhon Keys and backup linebacker Tylen Singleton remained listed as “probable”

Three backups have been listed as “out” since Wednesday and will miss the matchup. Wide receiver Phillip Wright III is the biggest scratch. He hauled in three catches and a touchdown with the second team against Clemson and saw 15 snaps as a rotational receiver against Louisiana Tech before exiting the game. Linebacker Jaiden Braker and running back Raycine Guillory were the others ruled out.

Ole Miss senior starting offensive tackle Tommy Kinsler IV was upgraded from questionable to probable, and senior starting linebacker Keaton Thomas was left off the report after receiving a probable designation on Thursday. Backup running back Maki Frazier is still probable after being upgraded from questionable.

Rebels backup cornerback Cedrick Beavers was downgraded from probable to doubtful. Backup cornerback Victor Lincoln and offensive lineman Emanuel Faulkner are both out.
