LSU vs Arkansas big-play blog: Follow all the top moments from Tiger Stadium

LSU is headed back to Tiger Stadium with better vibes after hanging tough against Alabama, now turning to Arkansas in a battle for an oversized statue.

The Tigers actually hold the Golden Boot trophy currently, with a win on the road at Arkansas last season representing one of their top performances of the year. That game was started by TJ Finley, with Max Johnson a capable backup. This time around it'll be Johnson getting the start, but with freshman Garrett Nussmeier expected to lead entire drives in the first half.

Who will finish the game? Whoever plays better, Tigers coach Ed Orgeron said. For the first time this season Nussmeier will have a chance to earn the starting job, with his prior appearances more about getting reps than evaluating the starter.

Either way there'll be some debate to be had as the Tigers look to break their losing streak, and get one of the two wins needed for bowl eligibility.

NUSS TO BECH, A BIG DEAL

You already know all about Jack Bech. But the freshman-to-freshman connection was cooking once Garrett Nussmeier got in the game. The freshman took over in the first quarter and led two consecutive scoring drives after the Tigers fell behind 3-0.
