Everyone knew Angel Reese was something special, but as of Sunday she has an NCAA record line all to herself.
With her 34th double-double of the season, the Tigers forward set the new NCAA mark with a lay-up in the third quarter with her LSU squad leading the Iowa Hawkeyes in the NCAA Tournament championship game.
Reese set the SEC record with her 32nd on the year. She's recorded a double-double in all by two of her games this season.
It's just one of the records for LSU in the game, with the Tigers' 59 first-half points setting a new record for points in any half of a title game. LSU followed that up with a full-game record for points en route to the program's first title in basketball on either the men's or women's side.
