Paul Mainieri returns to SEC with South Carolina, and we shouldn't be surprised

Paul Mainieri was born to be a coach. His father, Demi Mainieri, coached at Miami Dade Community College for 30 years. He was the first junior college coach to win 1,000 games in his career, ending with 1,012 wins and an induction into the National College Baseball Hall of Fame.

Mainieri is expected to be named the new head baseball coach at South Carolina on Tuesday.
