Coastal Carolina had its back against the wall facing LSU on Sunday afternoon, a couple important coaches will have to watch it play out on TV.
That's because CCU head coach Kevin Schnall and 1st base coach Matt Schilling were ejected by home plate umpire Angel Campos in the bottom of the first inning, apparently arguing over some calls early in the game. Schnall stayed on the field to continue the argument after the ejection, a decision that means he'd also miss a decisive Game 3 if the Chanticleers were to force one.

The gripe from Schnall appeared to extend back to the top of the first inning. When the camera cut to the CCU head coach he appeared to be shouting at Campos that he had missed three pitches, holding up three fingers to emphasize his point. Anther umpire appeared to trip and fall as Schall came onto the field to say his piece.
The game was scoreless at the time, with things coming to a head after a successful steal of second base by Sebastian Alexander.
LSU starter Anthony Eyanson was dealing early on, though the Chanticleers did plate their first run of the series on a Dean Mihos home run to left field in the second inning. LSU promptly answered with an RBI double from Ethan Frey in the bottom of the inning.
The Tigers won the first game 1-0 on Saturday and sit one win away from an 8th national title.
