It's felt like a long 7 days for the Saints to get back on the field with an eye on proving an uneven Week 2 loss to the Panthers was the exception, and not a sign of things to come in the 2021 season.
But can the the Saints go on the road (again) and restore that Week 1 confidence against the always-ready New England Patriots (1-1) and legendary coach Bill Belichick?
They'll have to do it against one of the NFL's top defensive groups, and they'll get their first shot at a rookie quarterback this season in former Alabama star Mac Jones.
