On Sunday, Taysom Hill accomplished a feat no one has since the 1960s.
Hill passed for a touchdown and caught another to help the Saints to a 24-17 win over Chicago, making him the first player since Frank Gifford to record at least 10 passing touchdowns, 10 receiving touchdowns, and 10 rushing touchdowns in his career.
One NFL analyst says the Saints should call on their Swiss Army Knife more often.
"For me, I would use him a little bit more," WWL NFL analyst Mike Detillier told WWL's Tommy Tucker on Monday. "I would just make sure that he touches that football at least 10 to 11 times a game."
That's because, according to Detillier, the Saints win more than 90 percent of the time when Hill touches the ball at least 10 times a game. On top of that, Detillier says opposing defenses haven't figured out how to stop him even though they know what's coming.
"Man, he's a tough dude out on the field," Detillier said. "He's just an awesome player. No matter what you ask him to do, he comes up big. You know it's coming, but you can't really stop it."
