When the Kansas City Chiefs took down the 49ers on overtime of Super Bowl 58, it means New Orleans is officially on the clock. No, not for the draft, for a highly anticipated Super Bowl.

And as the city and NFL prepares for that event, they'll do so with a unique logo designed with New Orleans flair.

The NFL for the first time opted to partner with a local artist to design its new logo, tapping Tahj Williams for that project. Williams is the queen of the Black Masking Indian Tribe, who designed the art using traditional beadwork.

The logo will be used throughout the year, building up to Super Bowl 59 inside the Caesars Superdome, with the landmark stadium having undergone a multi-year renovation aimed specifically for the big game.

That renovation is expected to be completed prior to the 2024 season, with the Super Bowl scheduled for Feb. 9, 2024. The Saints will be hoping to become the third NFL team, along with the Bucs in 2020 and Rams in 2021, to play in a home Super Bowl.
