The New Orleans Saints continue to try to navigate a bug that's been circulating the locker room this week, and a starting WR is now questionable for the Week 8 showdown with the Colts.
Michael Thomas was a late addition to the injury report on Saturday and is now listed as questionable for the game. He did not appear on the injury report all week.
The Saints now have 10 players listed as questionable, though they made no practice squad elevations, which indicates there's confidence that many will suit up. Thomas has been active in each of the first seven games this season, the first time he's played in that many games in a season since 2020. If he can't go it'll mean added responsibility for Chris Olave, Rashid Shaheed, Keith Kirkwood and Lynn Bowden Jr. It could also signal the NFL debut of rookie A.T. Perry, who has been a healthy inactive in every game thus far.
Thomas is one of several players and coaches who has been waylaid by the illness going around the facility in Metairie. G Max Garcia, S Marcus Maye and TE Jimmy Graham also landed on the injury report with an illness. RB Alvin Kamara missed Wednesday's practice for the same reason, but returned and was a full participant on Friday.
The Saints (3-4) and Colts (3-4) face off at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday (noon), with both teams vying to get back to .500 and push themselves right into the thick of tightly contested divisional races.
