Drew Brees hits the books with son during Monday Night Football: 'A little MNF and math homework!'

A golden rule of parenting — no football until you finish your homework — is enforced a little flexibly in the Brees household.

On Tuesday, Drew Brees posted a photo of himself helping his son, Baylen, 11, with his math homework while Monday Night Football played in the background.

“Last night...a little MNF and math homework!” the New Orleans’ Saints quarterback captioned the photo.

In the pic, Brees and Baylen can be seen burning the midnight oil at the kitchen table.

The 11-year-old looks on with his hand in the snack bowl while his football star dad holds a pencil against a worksheet with a big-boy coffee cup next to him on the table.

In the background, a small TV on the counter plays Monday night’s game between the Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Bears.

In the comments, fans showed love for the adorable fatherly moment.

“Good job dad,” one user wrote.

“His expression says it all,” another user joked.

The Saints' QB and wife Brittany Brees have four children together: three sons, Baylen, 11, Bowen, 10, and Callen, 8, and one daughter, Rylen, 6.
