Saints defensive end Cam Jordan was ejected from Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs after appearing to throw a punch at Chiefs lineman Andrew Wylie in the fourth quarter.
According to a report from NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero, Jordan won’t be suspended for the incident.
Jordan tweeted after Sunday’s game that he made no excuses for the play.
“No matter how I feel about it, an ejectable offense was the outcome,” Jordan tweeted following the game. “I hurt the squad, and in the fourth quarter on a crucial drive! That’s on me! This loss on me! Can’t happen! Whatever the correction I will be better.”
