The New Orleans Saints were exploring the possibility of playing home games in Tiger Stadium where a limited number of fans would be allowed to attend. But according to a report from the Athletic’s Jeff Duncan, that move won’t be made just yet.

The Saints will instead play their next few home games, including Sunday’s matchup with the Carolina Panthers, in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The report says the move will not be made as LSU hosts South Carolina for a night game Saturday which wouldn’t provide much time for turn around for the Saints noon kickoff.

So far, the Saints played their first home game in an empty Mercedes-Benz Superdome and their following two contests to a small crowd of family and friends as the City of New Orleans has declined to allow a limited number of fans in to the arena due to COVID-19 restrictions.
