The New Orleans Saints haven't missed many opportunities for attention-grabbing gameday elements as the 2025 season approaches, and that even extends to the Caesars Superdome turf.
The team announced Wednesday morning that the endzones will be painted gold when they face off with the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 7. It's the first time the Saints have played on a field with gold endzones since they took down the Colts in Super Bowl 44.
A video posted by the team showed the process of painting the end zones, though it's not clear if the change will be for one game or for an extended period. The Saints have their second home game the following week against the San Francisco 49ers.

The aesthetic will be on theme, will the Saints also poised to debut their redesigned gold alternate uniforms, which will be worn with the black alternate helmets debuted in 2022. This season the Saints also announced an alternate white helmet, which will be worn with the popular color rush jerseys.
The new looks will accompany a new head coaching era under Kellen Moore, which will also double as a new QB era. Second-year pro Spencer Rattler will take the field as the Week 1 starter for the first time after winning an extended QB battle with rookie Tyler Shough.
