The New Orleans Saints kept building their roster a day after cuts, officially claiming two players on waivers.
Those players were OT Mason Murphy who was cut by the Bears and DT Colby Wooden, who was cut by the Colts. The Saints will have to clear two roster spots to accommodate the moves, which they can do either through cuts or more injured reserve placements.

The Saints drafted former Auburn OL Jeremiah Wright this year and recently added kicker Daniel Carlson. Murphy is 6-5, 315 pounds and signed with the Bears after going undrafted.
Wooden, listed at 6-4, 273 pounds, was born in New Orleans but spent most of his childhood in Georgia. He was a 4th round pick of the Packers in 2023 but was traded to the Colts in March in exchange for Zaire Franklin. Wooden has appeared in 47 career games with 87 tackles, 9 TFLs and .5 sacks.
No Saints players were claimed on waivers, making them all eligible to potentially sign with the practice squad. Two early moves have been reported elsewhere, however, with Terrell Burgess signing on to the Titans 53-man roster, while WR Bub Means is signing to the Browns practice squad, according to reports.
