Saints ink 5 more draft picks to rookie deals, including QB Spencer Rattler

The New Orleans Saints have now signed all but one member of their rookie class ahead of this week's minicamp.

The Saints announced the following deals Thursday afternoon:
- QB Spencer Rattler
- LB Jaylan Ford
- WR Bub Means
- DT Khristian Boyd
- OT Josiah Ezirim

Each deal is for 4 years but details have not yet been specified. Each of the five players was picked in the 5th round or later. The news came just a few hours after it was announced that the team had come to terms with first-round pick Taliese Fuaga on a 4-year, $17 million contract.

The one player missing from that list is CB Kool-Aid McKinstry, who was drafted by the Saints No. 41 overall out of Alabama. The delay isn't of concern, with 2nd round pick contracts containing some negotiating room that will often stretch out the process. Neither of the past two Saints 2nd-round picks -- Alontae Taylor and Isaiah Foskey -- had their contracts signed by their respective rookie minicamps.

McKinstry is also the lone player of the group of draft picks and UDFAs not expected to be on the field this weekend as he continues to recover from a foot injury discovered during the offseason.

The Saints rookie minicamp, which will also include a host of tryout players, will be held at the team facility May 10-12.
