The Saints offense that ran so much through Alvin Kamara earlier this season might have to find a way without him for the second consecutive week.
The star running back got in limited work on Wednesday, but didn't practice on Thursday. His knee injury is an MCL sprain, according to a report from Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.
The severity of the injury is unknown, but an MCL injury of any kind is enough to understand caution on the Saints' end. Kamara suffered an MCL injury in the 2019 season, missing a handful of games before playing through it the rest of the season. He was noticeably limited later in the year, something the Saints will be looking to avoid.

Without Kamara in a Week 10 loss to the Titans, it was Mark Ingram shouldering a heavy load after Ty Montgomery went out with a severe finger injury. Taysom Hill was also "nicked up" with a foot injury, Sean Payton said. Neither has practiced so far this week.
Neither LT Terron Armstead or RT Ryan Ramczyk have practiced yet this week, leaving the Saints facing potential questions along the OL as well. Another starter in guard Andrus Peat is on injured reserve.
