The Saints have resigned running back/receiver Ty Montgomery to a one-year deal, according to a report from the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The deal reportedly includes a $137,500 signing bonus.
Montgomery spent last season with New Orleans and played in six games.
His biggest moment came in the Saints Week 17 win against the Carolina Panthers. Montgomery was the only Saints running back available for that matchup due to COVID-19 protocols and rushed for 105 yards on 18 carries.
Re-signing Montgomery was one of several moves the Saints made this week, including resigning safety JT Gray as well as cutting punter Thomas Morstead, tight end Josh Hill and Jared Cook.
New Orleans also restructured a few deals.
