Chris Olave found a career-best season in 2025, and the Saints' star WR has now landed at No. 64 in the NFL's top 100 ranking.

It's the first time in Olave's career he's landed on the annual ranking voting on by NFL players. He's the third Saints player to land on the list so far this year, along with Cam Jordan (100) and Travis Etienne (96). Former Saints LB Demario Davis also returned to the list at No. 95.

"Once we kind of starting clicking it was hard to stop. ... He was my guy," said Saints QB Tyler Shough in the NFL's video announcing the news.

Olave finished the year with 100 catches on 158 targets for 1,163 yards and 9 touchdowns, all career highs. The receiving total marked the third time in four NFL seasons that he eclipsed 1,000 yards receiving. The only exception was in 2024 when he missed the final nine games due to concussions. He was voted second-team all-pro for the first time this past offseason.

The ranking puts Olave ahead of Drake London (66), Courtland Sutton (68), Zay Flowers (71), AJ Brown (80) and Tetairoa McMillan (87). The NFL has been counting down two names per day leading up to the top 10. The three inclusions thus far by the Saints is the most they've had since 2023. The Saints did not have a single player in the ranking ahead of the 2025 season.

This news could be a precursor to a much larger headline, with Olave expected to ink a lucrative contract extension. The Saints picked up the 5th year option on his contract, and both sides have indicated that conversations have gone well. The Saints have been active in the past months, already inking Cam Jordan to a new contract and reworking Alvin Kamara's contract to ensure he stays around for at least one more season.
