Tre’Quan Smith could not have picked a better time to make arguably the catch of the year for the New Orleans Saints.

Trevor Siemian, who was in for an injured Taysom Hill, targeted Smith in the left corner of the end zone when the wide receiver extended his arms and hauled in the pass on the top of his helmet and behind his head while being knocked to the ground.

Smith held on for the touchdown, giving the Saints a 14-6 lead on the Falcons at the time, and celebrating the big play by ripping off his helmet as he got up from the ground, warranting a 15-yard penalty.

That was not the only impressive catch from the game, though.

On the first play after the Falcons got the ball back, cornerback Paulson Adebo made a spectacular one-handed interception on a deep ball from Matt Ryan.

The Saints certainly need all the big plays they can get on Sunday as the team is playing for their playoff lives.

Not only do they need to win, but they also need a 49ers loos in order to get into the NFC playoffs.

Through one half of football, things were looking good as the Niners were trailing the Rams 17-3 at the half while the Saints led 24-6.
