Tyrann Mathieu is right at home with the New Orleans Saints, but his support for the other home team hasn't quite gone so well.
That's, of course, referring to LSU football. For the second time this season he was on the losing end of an alma mater bet, this time at the hands of Alvin Kamara and Tennessee contingent of the Saints locker room.
"Yea, that boy look good. ... Who dat? Yea, you know what that is. That's that badger man," Kamara yelled as he approached Mathieu wearing a Tennessee hoodie at the Saints' facility Wednesday morning. The Volunteers defeated LSU 40-13 last weekend.
I love ya gang. But we need that 😂@Mathieu_Era #GoVols🔸🔸🔸 pic.twitter.com/vnRUSCiplq

And Kamara wasn't alone in confidently celebrating the Volunteers' victory over the Saints this week. CBs Alontae Taylor and Bryce Thompson and DT Shy Tuttle.
It was the second time this year Mathieu found himself on the wrong side of such a bet, suffering a similar punishment at the hands of teammate PJ Williams after Florida State beat LSU in the Caesars Superdome earlier this year. Jameis Winston is also a Florida State alum.
There will be plenty of opportunities for him to get back on track, though, if he tries to bet his way out of the home.
The Tigers have Florida on the schedule next, repped by fellow safety Marcus Maye. Later in the year the Tigers match up with Alabama, repped by RB Mark Ingram. But the finale against Texas A&M could see the most action, with that school being repped by Erik McCoy, Justin Evans and a good chunk of the coaching staff.
