For more than a few reasons it's impossible for TIAA Bank Field to replicate the look and feel of the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, but that won't stop them from trying.
The New Orleans Saints shared a clip Thursday morning that showed workers finishing up the Saints name in the end zones and with digital graphics around the stadium. The Saints are hosting the game at the typical home of the Jaguars due to their displacement from the city following Hurricane Ida. The team evacuated to Dallas ahead of the storm and has stayed in Texas after coordinating with TCU to hold practices and workouts at their facilities in Fort Worth.
While the field in Jacksonville looks great and will likely be packed with Saints fans on Sunday, it's still not home. The team got good news on that front, however, with New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell saying Wednesday that she expects the team will be able to return to its stadium for a game by their next home date in Week 4.
