It's inaugural year, Jazz Fest brought in 350 attendees. Now, the event "attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to New Orleans and pumps $350 million a year into the local economy," according to the Jazz Fest website.
Jazz Fest 2026 only built on that momentum, as an estimated 475,000 people flocked from all over the world to watch the 600+ bands and taste the 100+ food offerings, slightly beating out last year's attendance of 460,000.
This year also featured Jazz Fest's first-ever daytime sell-out on Saturday, May 2nd, which followed two days of severe weather issues, forcing a shortened schedule.
Looking to next year, festival organizers have already announced the dates: April 22nd-May 2nd.
