Business: Disney Cruise Line delays setting sail

New Orleans-based TAI Engineers has produced a ship that will ferry VIPs to and from the Statue of Liberty. The National Parks Service takes custody of the 74-foot-long utility vessel ANNIE MOORE, named after the Irish girl who was the first immigrant to sign the register at Ellis Island.

Disney Cruise Line is delaying its 2-night “simulation” cruise after a handful of employees had inconsistent test results for COVID-19. The Disney Dream was set to sail from Port Canaveral, Florida today.

The S&P Case-Shiller Home Price Index drops today as policymakers monitor the red-hot housing market.

Stocks were mixed again. The Dow closed 150 points lower as shares of Boeing and Chevron slid, but tech companies outperformed and the S&P added 10 and the Nasdaq gained 140, both hitting new records. Futures are mixed.
