The Small Business Administration has officially begun doling out $5 billion in additional grants to small businesses hardest hit by the pandemic. The new grants will go to 1 million eligible small businesses.
The NFL and audio-only social media platform Clubhouse have agreed to a content deal centered around the draft. The deal will include draft-themed rooms for fans to discuss mock drafts and player selections within the rooms. The clubhouse is an invitation-only app where users can join rooms to participate or to just be an audience member — and the rooms can have as few as two people in them, or as many as a few thousand.
BP posted better-than-expected quarterly earnings, reflecting stronger oil and gas prices. The British oil company posted a net profit of $4.7 billion for the three months ended March 31. A year ago, BP reported a loss of $4.46 billion.
