New Orleans Police say a child was shot Sunday night.
"The NOPD is investigating an aggravated battery by shooting that occurred in the Seventh District," Senior Public Information Officer Gary Scheets notified the media.
He did not say exactly where it happened.
"Around 8:14 p.m. a juvenile female arrived at a local hospital in a private vehicle.
The victim was suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm."
Scheets said that no further information was available.
