Cops say they have charged a woman with hitting and killing a man on a bicycle in Metairie, then fleeing the scene.
They found here in Mississippi.
"Our Traffic Division was able to secure an arrest warrant for Bridget Benton," JPSO Captain Jason Rivarde said. "Benton was located in Hancock County, Mississippi."
They tracked her down on Christmas Eve and arrested her.
"She will be extradited to Jefferson Parish, where she will be booked with negligent homicide, felony hit-and-run driving, and obstruction of justice."
The crash happened Monday on Veterans Memorial Blvd.
