The New Orleans Police Department announced on Monday the arrest of a suspect in a homicide that happened Sunday in Algiers.
Police say around 10 p.m., cops were called to the 2100 block of Valentine Court in the Walnut Bend subdivision where they found a man shot dead.
Police say the suspect was apprehended on the scene.
NOPD says because of the domestic nature of the crime, they are not releasing the suspect's identity until the victim's next of kin is notified.
