The New Orleans Police Department says two people were shot Wednesday afternoon in the Central Business District.
Police say gunshot wound victims, a man and a woman, were found at the intersection of Carondolet and Common streets around 4 p.m.
New Orleans EMS took the two to a nearby hospital.
Police asked anyone with information to call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111 or toll free at (877) 903-7867 (STOP).
Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward.
