Update: Ochsner Health and Jefferson Parish have announced new dates for Vaccine Fest, a 24-hour COVID-19 mass vaccination event, due to the threat of severe weather. Vaccine Fest will now take place on Monday, March 29 – Tuesday, March 30 from 10 a.m. – 10 a.m. Appointments are still available.

Beginning March 24-25, Jefferson Parish and Ochsner Health will host a 24-hour vaccination event at the Shrine on Airline.
The event will happen at 10:00 a.m. and is aimed at honoring health care workers who often work 24 shifts during the pandemic.
More than 6,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine will be administered. Appointments will be scheduled round-the-clock.

The Moderna second dose will be given on April 21-22 at the same appointment time as the first dose. That will also happen at the Shrine on Airline.
