A woman was carjacked near a highly trafficked retail area in Mid-City, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
An NOPD report says a 33-year-old woman was getting out of her 2013 Honda CRV in the 400 N. Carrolton Avenue, when, a man armed with a gun approached her and demanded her vehicle.
Police say the woman complied and the thief drove off in the woman’s SUV. Police are searching for the Honda CRV which, police say has a Louisiana license plate 6-9-9 A-D-J.
