Those cleaning fees that Airbnb customers of have long complained about will soon become more apparent early in searches for lodging. Starting sometime next month, Airbnb will allow you to filter your search results by the total cost of the stay before taxes. That means the cleaning fees will be among those you can now see up front.
AMC Entertainment is teaming up with Zoom Video Communications to turn some of the movie-theater chain’s locations into so-called Zoom Rooms. The two companies say Zoom Rooms are workspaces for hybrid teams that combine the Zoom experience with the “comfort and state-of-the-art sight and sound technology” of AMC’s theaters. Zoom Rooms at AMC will be launched in up to 17 markets next year. They’ll be available in three-hour blocks, with typical auditorium sizes between 75 and 150 seats.
Futures are up after stocks closed higher yesterday. The Dow Industrials gained another 423, the NASDAQ added 89 and the S&P 500 was up 36.
