The Westbank of Orleans Parish is under a boil water advisory.
According to the Sewerage and Water Board, water pressure dipped below the legal minimum requirements while crews were performing maintenance on a water tower at the Algiers Water Plant, forcing them to issue the advisory.
SWB officials say there are no water main breaks and water pressure is back to normal.
The boil advisory is in place until further notice.
