More than 70 million people took a trip for the 4th of July, and now a lot of them will soon be headed back.
Whether by air or by car, all those people who took off last weekend or earlier in the week are about to make their way home. AAA's Don Redman says it appears most returning travelers will wait until the end of the weekend.
"Whether you're flying back home, or you're driving back home, Sunday is going to be a nightmare for you," said Redman.
"Times are going to increase by 65 percent, whatever it takes you," he elaborated.
Redman says if you're traveling Sunday, it's best to leave early, because most people wait until mid day to get started.
