A school bus carrying children home from school and an ambulance on its way to a offer medical assistance collided in Slidell Friday afternoon, WWL-TV reports.
Acadian Ambulance says the two medics in the ambulance had to be taken to the hospital.
St. Tammany Public School officials tell the TV station that there were 45 children on the bus, and some minor injuries were reported.
The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. near South Military Rd. and Cross Gates Blvd.
