The plague of violence in New Orleans won't let up in the new year.
"The NOPD is investigating a triple homicide that occurred in the 3300 block of Banks Street," the NOPD's Breanna Bringier said in an email around 11:30pm.
The gunfire rang out at 10:09pm.
"Initial reports show three male victim(s) sustained gunshot wounds to their bodies. EMS declared the victims deceased at the scene."
A new release later described the victims as a 27 year-old male and two unknown males.
"First District Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the area. Upon their arrival, officers located three male victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds."
Cops are asking for any help they can get.

There have been shootings every day so far in 2023 in New Orleans with a series of incidents that have left multiple people wounded or dead at one time.
