New Orleans Police are working their second homicide of the day.
The department reports a man was found dead on the 2800 block of South Johnson Street near the intersection with Washington Avenue in the City’s Hoffman Triangle neighborhood.
NOPD was first notified of this incident at about 10:32 a.m.
Confirmation was received at about 10:47 a.m.
The same block has seen a murder a year roughly since 2018.
