A water main has broken underneath New Orleans' streets. This break is in Central City, near Jackson Ave. and Magnolia Street.
The Sewerage and Water Board has not issued any advisories as of 4:30 p.m.
NOLA.com reports the beak is in a 30-inch line.
The break is blocks from where a 4-foot-wide water main broke last month, that flooded the busy intersection of S. Claiborne Ave. and Louisiana Ave.
That incident also touched of a precautionary boil advisory that affected a large part of the city.
