Police in New Orleans say they have arrested 33-year-old Anna Waldei in connection to a shooting investigation. The shooting happened in the 300 block of St. Joseph Street on June 25.
“At about 12:15 p.m., NOPD Eighth District officers were dispatched to the location on a report that a male subject had been shot in the leg. The victim was transported via EMS to a local hospital for treatment. Through investigation, NOPD Eighth District detectives determined that the incident developed and positively identified Waldei as the perpetrator in this incident, obtaining a warrant for her arrest on a charge of aggravated battery,” according to an NOPD report.
Officers found Waldei and arrested her on June 27 in the 2900 block of Lasalle Street.
