NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred in the Second District Wednesday afternoon.
The incident occurred around 3:19 p.m., near the intersection of South Claiborne Avenue and Delachaise Street in Broadmoor.
The adult male victim was at the location when the perpetrator(s) parked alongside his vehicle.
One unknown subject exited the vehicle and fired multiple gunshots, striking the victim.
The victim died at the scene.
Investigators are in the process of gathering information that will help them identify a person(s) responsible for this incident, as well as a motive.
