The weather outside is delightful, and outside is where folks want to find spots to dine.

We'll enjoy cooler mornings and milder afternoons through the weekend and its a great time to explore the best spots for grabbing a bite outdoors.

Food columnist and critic, Ian McNulty, says there are several options to feel the breeze.

"In the city, you've got Bacchanal and N-7 in the Bywater, and over in Algiers Point, Barracudas."

Speaking of Algiers Point, McNulty says it is one of two up and coming hot spots worth taking a look at.

"Algiers Point and Metairie Rd are becoming there own restaurant rows. On Metairie Rd, Garrison's offers private gazeboes complete with heating and cooling for you and your guests."

Next week is expected to bring with it rain from the named Storm Sara and colder temperatures from an arctic blast and Mcnulty told WWL's Tommy Tucker that getting out is essential when weather is perfect.

"You just want to box it up and bring it home that good weather feeling."
