New Orleans Police are investigating a pair of shootings Friday night.
The first occurred in the Seventh District on Read Boulevard between Irby and Carter Streets.
A male victim with a non-fatal gunshot wound to the hand arrived at a local hospital via private conveyance.
The incident was first reported at about 10:29 p.m. on February 19, but was not confirmed as a shooting until about 1:19 a.m. on February 20.
Meanwhile, in the Fourth District, Algiers off General Meyer and Shirley Drive, another shooting was reported.

NOPD has not said if the shootings, in which both victims were injured in the hand, are connected.
