NOPD is investigating after a body was discovered near France Rd. and Poland Ave. Police at this time say it is an unclassified death.
WWL-TV reports family members have identified the body as that of missing barbecue chef Demietriek Scott.
Scott's family reported him missing to New Orleans Police on Saturday. His family last had contact with him near the end of May.
The coroner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death.
