The body recovered from that water after the liftboat Seacor Power capsized Tuesday, has been identified.

Authorities say the deceased crewmember is 63-year-old Captain David Ledet of Thibodaux according to the Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate.

A woman identifying herself as Ledet’s cousin confirmed the identification in a Facebook post.

"Thank you for all of the prayers. Although obviously my aunt and David's wife and children are heartbroken, there is some comfort in knowing there can be closure. Continuing to pray for the other 12 that are still lost and their families,” Jennifer Johnson wrote in her post.

Nineteen crewmembers were onboard the Seacor Power when it capsized about 8 miles south of Port Fourchon. Six people were rescued by Coast Guard and various vessels responding to the distress call. Twelve crewmembers are still missing.
