The Jefferson Parish Water Department and the Louisiana Department of Health have lifted the Boil Water Advisory for the West Bank of Jefferson Parish.
However, Grand Isle is excluded and remains under a boil water advisory.
“Customers on the West Bank may now use the water without boiling or disinfecting. No more precautionary actions are necessary. Normal water service is expected to be maintained from this time forward,” said Jefferson Parish officials.
The rest of Jefferson Parish remains under a boil water advisory.
