A melee on Canal Street around 3:30am this morning as a fight between five people quickly escalated to a shooting incident.
The gunfire rang out on Canal between Camp and Magazine Streets
According to the Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate, the two victims were drawn down upon by two men and a woman who opened fire on them.
The two gunshot victims, ages 18-and-25, were transported by EMS to local hospitals for treatment.
The three suspects fled the scene and are being sought by NOPD.
