Distracted drivers have the man who oversees the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway angry.
"Everybody be careful, pay attention when you're driving. Put the damn -excuse me- put the doggone phones down," bridge general manager Carlton Dufrechou said.
It came after a crash closed the Causeway this morning.
"These kind of things are preventable."

"Being inattentive a guy piled into the back of another vehicle, it ricocheted off another one and had this big F150 Ford truck hanging over the side of the bridge."
Two people had to be extracted from a vehicle this morning after a driver caused a crash that left a vehicle flipped over on the bridge.
"Please, wherever you are, pay attention. That vehicle can be a heck of a weapon."
